About Position:
Want to design some of the largest and most complex projects in town? If so, you may be who we're looking for! Candidate will work under the direction of senior engineers to provide engineering support that will include design and 3D modeling of projects. The candidate will further develop their understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and building codes, in particular ASHRAE, IBC, IECC, IMC, IPC. Passion to provide sustainable designs is a must! Candidate will perform engineering studies using advanced software such as Revit, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, Department of Energy Sustainability software, and other design tools. This position will have the opportunity to travel to local project construction sites to evaluate the progress and verify performance of the systems designed. Candidate will have the opportunity to interact with clients, architects, owners, facility managers, and other project team members. All projects are designed by a team of professional engineers who will mentor, guide, and coordinate on a daily basis as you further develop your engineering skills and knowledge. Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Word/Excel is a plus.
Other pluses include Energy Load software such as: Trace 700/3D IES VE.

Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering/Technology or higher required. E.I.T. certification preferred.
